And the blog.

About the blogger

I’m an idealistic and passionate biologist and student. I’m originally a big city New Englander, but currently living in a small town in the Southeastern region of the United States. You can call me Alee (Al-EE).

My many passions include biology, relationships, daydreaming, social trends and issues, the Internet, and people-watching. These interests, and my love for people and discussion, inspired me to begin this blog.

About the blog

A Lofty Existence centers around topics about culture, interpersonal relationships, and issues of daily living. Topics are diverse but fall under the general categories listed in the sidebar in the right-hand corner. This blog is a record of my research, thoughts, and interests. However, the main goal of this blog is to provide useful information and discussion on its topics, and an open community to anyone who would like to discuss these subjects.

I can be contacted at aloftyexistence at gmail dot com with any questions, comments, or concerns. Email is encouraged.

  1. I like your about page. 🙂

I wouldn’t have guessed that you write poetry–I tend to attract people who write poems and prose, but I’m only good at writing essays (and not the kind that are fun to read).

I like pasta too (though Mexican has overtaken it as my favorite food), but I hate cheesecake. I think my taste buds don’t get along with certain dairy products, because I also dislike cream cheese and yogurt.

I don’t think I know very many Pisces, and I wouldn’t imagine you as the youngest–I would’ve guessed middle child. 🙂

Does your blog title have any special significance? (I guessed that your name came from the letters in the title–was I right?)

  2. Jasmin,

I like cream cheese too. I like cheese in general.

“Does your blog title have any special significance?”

I’m just a very dreamy person with lofty ideals. 🙂

“(I guessed that your name came from the letters in the title–was I right?)”

    Correct!
